April is my favourite month. And Sofia in April (just like April in Sofia) is beautiful. The city is more peaceful, people on the streets are in no hurry, the street dogs (and all people) are happy that the winter is over. The air smells different – warm and sweet. Spring is coming.
People often ask me if Sofia is worth a visit. My answer would be: Yes, in April.
