I am so grateful I didn’t have my mp3 player on in the subway station today.
Because I could have missed Halfblind Henry playing his beautiful subway blues. The moment I heard his guitar I just had to stop and listen. It took me about 5 seconds to realize this is good stuff. And in 10 seconds time I was already a proud owner of his CD “Subway Songs”. I rarely have the chance to thank the artists I like for bringing me joy with their music. Today was an exception. I got to say “Thank you. What you make is beautiful.”
The first song of the CD is called: “Beginner’s Guide To The Subway Blues”.
